Dr. Edward W. Leahey graduated from St. Mary’s University with a BS degree. He earned his MD from Dalhousie University where he also earned his Electrical Engineering degree the same year. Dr. Leahey completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas in Houston, TX where he also completed his fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease.
Dr. Leahey is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. His area of expertise is coronary and peripheral arterial angioplasties and stenting procedures. He has served as Chief of Staff, Cardiac Rehab Director and Cath Lab Director of the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital.
Dr. Leahey has been practicing in the Houston/Baytown area for over 25 years and has a passion and desire to provide nothing less than excellent care for his patients.
